Wellness Frequently Asked Questions

🧭 General Access and Exploration

Why do I see a screen asking me to upgrade my plan when I try to enter the Wellness tab?

The entire catalog of meditations, frequencies, and breathing exercises in the Wellness tab is exclusive content. To play and explore this material, an active Premium membership on your Caloritrack account is required.

There is a lot of content, how can I quickly find something specific for how I feel today?

You have two very quick ways to filter the content:

  • Search bar: At the top, there is a text bar where you can type keywords (e.g., "anxiety" or "sleep"), and the list will update automatically.
  • Quick Filters (Chips): Just below the search bar, you will see oval buttons with categories like "Sleep," "Relaxation," or "Focus" (if you are in Soundhealing), or "Reduce stress," "Energy," etc. (if you are in Breathwork). Tap any of them to see only the exercises in that category.

How do I save the audios or exercises I like the most so I don't have to search for them every time?

You can save any exercise to your "Favorites" by tapping the star icon that appears on the exercise card directly in the list. If you are already inside the sound player, you can tap the heart icon in the top right corner. To see everything you have saved, select the "Favorites" filter on the main Wellness screen.

🎧 Soundhealing

When tapping an audio, it sends me to an information screen instead of playing immediately. Why?

That is the Preview screen. It is designed to give you context before your session. There you can see the sound category, a short description, and a deeper explanation of how that frequency or sound will help you. You will also see a reminder to use headphones, which we recommend for the best benefits. Just tap "Play Now" at the bottom to start the audio.

What do the controls inside the sound player mean?

The player has tools to customize your session:

  • Central Button (Play/Pause): Stops or resumes the main track.
  • Timer (clock icon): Allows you to set a specific time (e.g., 15 or 30 minutes) for the audio to turn off automatically, ideal if you use it to sleep.
  • AirPlay (concentric screens icon): Allows you to send the audio to your smart speakers, HomePod, or Apple TV.
  • Repeat (looping arrows icon): You can set it so the audio stops when the track ends, repeats once, or repeats infinitely.

Can I play rain or wind sounds in the background while listening to my sound therapy?

Yes! We have unified the volume and ambient controls into a single card inside the player. Below the main track volume control, you will see a section called "Ambience". Tapping the "+" icon will open a menu where you can choose between options like stream, rain, forest, wind, storm, among others. Once selected, you can adjust the volume of that ambient sound independently from the main track.

If I use AirPlay to listen on my HomePod, will the ambient sound (e.g., rain) I added also be heard?

Yes. The app's audio system is optimized (Dual AirPlay Support) to mix both audios (the Soundhealing track and the ambience) and send them together to your external device seamlessly.

I minimized the player to navigate the app. How do I open it again or remove it?

While navigating, you will see a mini-player at the bottom of the screen. If you tap any part of it, it will reopen in full screen. If you decide to "swipe" it to the left, it will collapse into a small side tab so it doesn't get in your way.

🌬️ Breathwork

How should I follow the pace of the breathing exercise?

The screen will guide you in three ways:

  • Visually: A Mint Green central circle will expand when you need to inhale, stay still when you need to hold the air, and contract when you need to exhale.
  • By text: In the center of the circle you will see clear instructions ("Inhale", "Hold", "Exhale", "Hold") along with a real-time seconds counter.
  • Vibrations (Haptics): You will feel pulsations on your device that vary in intensity to guide you without having to look at the screen.

The vibrations (haptics) distract me, can I turn them off?

Of course. At the bottom right of the breathing player, you will find a button with a phone icon. Tap it to disable (or re-enable) the haptic feedback.

How do I know how much time is left to finish my breathing session?

You have two indicators. At the top there is a linear progress bar and a timer showing the total remaining minutes. At the bottom, you will see the current number of "Cycles" versus the total (e.g., "2/5"), which helps you know which repetition you are on.

📊 History, Sync & Stats

If I do a Soundhealing or Breathwork exercise, is it saved in my history?

Yes! As long as the audio or breathing session lasted more than 10 continuous seconds, the system will automatically register it as completed.

Does all this connect with the Health app (Apple Health) on my iPhone?

Absolutely. The Wellness module syncs bidirectionally with Apple Health.

  • Your Soundhealing and Breathwork sessions are automatically sent as "Mindfulness Minutes" to Apple Health.
  • Your Mood logs, if you have iOS 17 or higher, are sent directly to the new native "State of Mind" section of Apple Health with their valence level (positive/negative). If you have an older iOS, it is alternatively registered as a general mindfulness log.
