🔐 Access and Availability​

Why do I see a screen asking me to upgrade my plan when I try to open Kai?​

Kai Coach is your smart assistant and an exclusive tool for Premium members. If you currently have the free version of the app, or if your subscription has expired, you will see an informative screen indicating that you must get Premium to chat with Kai.

💬 Starting a Conversation​

It's my first time here and I don't know what to ask. How do I start?​

Don't worry! When you open Kai and the chat is empty, the initial screen will show you three default question suggestions to break the ice. If you tap any of those buttons, the question will be automatically typed and sent so Kai can start helping you.

What language can I speak to Kai in?​

You can type in the language of your choice. Additionally, Kai is programmed to detect the main language configured on your mobile phone and will respond fluently in that same language.

✍️ Typing and Sending Messages​

Why does the text box get bigger when I type?​

We want it to be comfortable for you to explain your doubts to Kai. That's why the text box automatically expands upwards as you type longer or multi-line messages, up to a maximum size so as not to cover the rest of the screen.

Why does the send button (the paper airplane) appear disabled or gray sometimes?​

The send button is disabled to protect the app's fluidity in two situations:

  • If you haven't typed anything in the text box or if you only put blank spaces.
  • While Kai is "typing" and processing a response for you. You will notice that it's thinking because you'll see a blinking three-dot animation along with some sparks.

I typed a message and the keyboard disappeared immediately, is this normal?​

Yes! By pressing the send button, we automatically hide the keyboard to give you a wide, clean view of the screen while you wait and read Kai's response.

🧠 Chat Memory and History​

Does Kai remember what I said in previous messages?​

Yes, Kai is a conversational assistant. To keep the thread of the conversation and give you responses with context, Kai remembers and analyzes the last 15 messages sent in your current session.

I want to start from scratch and talk about a completely different topic. How do I clear the chat?​

In the upper right corner of your screen, you will see a square icon with a pencil. Tapping it will bring up a prompt asking for confirmation to start a new conversation. If you accept, the entire current chat history will be cleared from the screen to give you a blank canvas. Please note that this action is final and cannot be undone.

🛡️ Privacy and Health​

Is it safe to share my data and habits with Kai?​

Absolutely. On the initial screen (before sending messages), you will see a privacy note with a shield icon. All the information you share with Kai is confidential and processed under strict security standards.

I feel physically unwell, can Kai give me a diagnosis or treatment?​

No. Kai is a wellness and nutrition coach, but not a doctor. On the main screen, you will always see a medical disclaimer reminding you of this. Kai's responses should never replace the advice, diagnosis, or treatment of a qualified healthcare professional.

⚠️ Errors and Troubleshooting​

I tried to send a message and Kai replied: "You do not have enough credits". What does this mean if I already paid for Premium?​

Artificial intelligence requires processing power. If you ever see this message, it means you have exhausted the quota or limit of interactions allowed with Kai according to your current plan.

The message says: "Kai is not available at the moment". What do I do?​

This is a temporary error that occurs if you lose your internet connection or if Kai's servers are under maintenance. Simply wait a few minutes, check your WiFi or data connection, and try again.

🏆 Rewards for Using Kai​

Does talking to Kai help me complete my habits in the app?​

Yes! Every interaction you have is automatically logged. In your "My Path" section, you will see that the "Connection with Kai" habit will light up on the days you chat with him. Plus, you will collect exclusive badges (Badges); from your first message, to reaching milestones of 10, 30, 50, 100, 200, and 500 chats. It's a great way to make progress!
